As a photographer I use a ton of different programs and tools and tech stuff… but here are some things I use that just make sense…
Basic. Yep. But Amazon. I order props and design products, wardrobe, tools, gadgets and who knows whats. Here are a few of my favorites that you should check out:
Rocketbooks are amazing because you can categorize your notes and send them to the cloud for later access. Then you just wipe the page clean & can reuse it. Amazing.
Also, check out these pens if you are looking to add a little spice to your notes 😉
Yep – I went there. 2020 has been a weird year so now I have one of these bad boys in the studio. And it is so easy to use that I’m thinking of getting one for home too.
Seems simple right? I used to get these really amazing branded paper gift bags, but then I started thinking about how wasteful that was. So I started ordering these reusable bags in a pretty maroon color and they just sort of “fit” my branding! And I love the idea of clients reusing them. Hopefully it brings back some fond memories of the products the originally carried home in them!
Siteground has been hosting my website for a few months now and I have had 0 complaints. I was having problems with my old host and switched before my term was up, but they needed.to.go. Siteground made the transfer SO EASY and I couldn’t be more grateful for their help.
They designed the beautiful theme that I use for my website! And it was so easy to use!! I mean like EASY. They make it simple which is really rewarding because doing everything is hard and I just don’t have time to learn code!
This is an online file transfer program that simplifies my life. I edit for other photographers so I often have huge file transfers and this gets the job done & quickly!
This is a BIG one! This is how I manage all of my clients form start to finish. It is a client management platform that allows me to send my clients brochures, invoices, contracts, and regular correspondences. I can also schedule my clients through Honeybook which is just amazing.
I am a Nikon shooter and I really love my gear. I couldn’t imagine switching! (…unless I was adding a medium format to the mix.). But really, Nikon has served me so well over the years and I’m so excited for their new mirrorless lineup and growing lens collection!
Yep. Apple. I love my MacBook Pro, my iMac Pro, and my iPad. They are such amazing tools and are really quite reliable! I am also an iPhone user, but will confess I haven’t fallen into the iWatch craze just yet.
Peak Design products are just wonderful – they are functional AND well made. And their customer service is top notch. I don’t know if I’ll ever trade in my Clutch handstrap!
Fire away! I’m here and since I use all of these products regularly I will do my very best to answer your questions!
Thanks for stopping by & giving this a read! I hope you found some of it helpful!
